East Coast - our Heritage
The East Coast Rugby Club covers a large geographic area with Masterton to the West and the Pacific Ocean to the East.
The settlements of Castlepoint, Tinui and Riversdale are included in the vast rural hinterland.
While farming and its support business is the main occupation in the area there are also fishermen and employees from the town of Masterton.
Our Club
Our club is based at Whareama close to the school there and boosts one of the better playing surfaces in the area.
The club rooms are very much a community and family affair with more spectators at local games than can be seen at the occasional representative fixture.
Our food is legendary, relying on the sea and the land to entertain visiting teams.
